Some babies do not poop daily. So long there is no blood stain in the poop, it is fine. Massage can help to encourage your baby’s bowels to move. Before starting any massage for baby: *Make sure the room is warm enough (especially if removing baby’s clothing) *Warm your hands by rubbing them together *Ask baby’s permission to start massage by making eye contact and verbally asking out loud “Is it okay if I massage your Tummy” You can follow this link for instructions on baby massage for constipation. The blogger included some pictures and step by step on the process of massage. http://kristyscottage.com/tummy-massage-for-baby/

It is normal for breastfed babies to not poo for maximum of 14 days. Some babies poo everyday some babies poo once every week. You can cycle baby legs to stimulate bowel movement. If baby seems to have a hard time trying to poo, you can eat some prunes so that it can be passed on through breastmilk to aid them to poo.
