Hi!! My baby was born June 2024 - can stand on his own + walk while holding on to furniture, I'm sure your baby will develop on his own timeline but these are some things I did to provide opportunities and encourage!
1. For standing, I bought these handles and attached to the cot. I only let him use it with supervision and he learnt how to stand on his own, holding side of cot within days. From there, I just kept encouraging him to stand and hold the side of cot before I pick him up (use less and less of the handles) and eventually he could stand on his own without any support. 2. For walking, when he is holding on to the cot, I would stand at the other side with a healthy snack and encourage him to come over 🤣 eventually he got the idea and now walks around all four sides of his cot, and currently starting to walk without assistance sometimes (1-2 steps).
