Dollar matching CDA

Hey mums, May I know if the dollar matching for CDA is only time? Or every year until baby 12 years old.

I've set mine to auto transfer $50 to the cda account every month, and the government matches it in about 2 weeks after that. Its up to a certain amt and age, I forgot how much

Cap at 4k for first child and 7k for 2nd child.

One time, within a certain time frame.
