Someone in my mum WhatsApp group mentioned that KKH's workflow is super streamlined because they handle SO many patients, like every station knows exactly what to do, so you won't feel blur or lost as a first-timer. On the cost side though, my friend who went private at KKH said don't assume it's automatically cheaper than SGH, she said private at KKH can still hit 12-15k range, so the real savings only if you go subsidised route. The general vibe from people I know is KKH is a solid choice especially for first-time mums just because the team is so experienced with all kinds of cases, which gives a bit more peace of mind. So I'd say weigh whether you're going private or subsidised first, then decide, that will affect the cost difference quite a bit between the two hospitals!
