It is not too late to switch at 35 weeks, some mummies in my circle have made the change even later than that, so do call SGH directly to ask about availability and what the process looks like. The main thing to weigh is whether the continuity of care with one dedicated doctor matters a lot to you, because with private you will generally see the same gynae each visit and during delivery too, which many mummies find really reassuring in those final weeks. I would suggest calling SGH's appointment line to ask which private gynaes have slots, as availability really depends on who is taking new patients at this stage lah.
