Hi mummies! When did u share the piece of good news with your family?
I only share the good news to friends on social media on my 20weeks aft i know my baby gender. Of cos my colleagues who have know that im pregnant. But keep it low profile to those friends and relatives that u rarely meet till ur baby gender reveal.
When i reached about 8 mths, my family members said im getting fatter. I kept it a secret cos i think the first few weeks was abit risky. Malays called it “pantang”. Hence, best to wait 8 weeks onwards.
For immediate family I told them ASAP. But I told them I only want to announce to relatives and others after first trimester. We r keeping the news from my in laws for now…until after first trimester
I only shared with immediate family once we found out. Some other close relatives after the 1st trimester and the rest only after 30 weeks.
I share it after knowing it to my family. It will be best to share after 1st trimester. (this is what ppl believe).
