Machine wash baby clothes

Hi mummies, do you just use washing machine for baby clothes ? If yes, if theres like some leftover detergent around the washing machine or the place we put the detergent from our normal adult detergent, will that be ok for baby? #FTM

I use washing machine. Not sure if there is leftover detergent but i will just use my ger’s detergent to wash hers. I mean tats what we do even when she was younger
