Curious about beta HCG level
Hi mummies, tested positive today and straight to clinic for blood test and the result was 370IU/L. This number seems like below the border line for week 4, did any1 experience the same?
Congratulations! 370 is actually okay for early detection, but honestly since HCG levels vary so much between people (some rise faster, some slower), the best thing is to go back in a few days for a repeat test, that's what my doctor always insists on because it's the doubling that matters more than the number itself, not the single reading. A few of us tried stressing over the actual numbers and drove ourselves nuts, but our doctors all said the same thing: if it's doubling nicely in 48-72 hours, you're golden, so check back with your clinic soon and see what they say!
