KKH experience
Hi mummies, can you share with me your experience at KKH (sub)throughout your whole pregnancy journey upon the appointments, scans, checkup, delivery and all. So far i feel like everything is so rushing there & considering if it's better to take private? ftm seeking for advice, thanks!!
I was under subsidised till 35 weeks then changed to private bt still under kkh. I would say because theres alot of patients i guess? Some appt i couldnt even ask the gynae questions cause like she’s rushing ? But then everyone is very friendly.but my delivery was a traumatic one so i cant comment on that

KKH Private for the 2nd time. For private side, waiting time is really depend on how many patients waiting. Some came late that why snowball. however i have been sticking to the same Gynae for 2nd time. Very caring and nice Gynae. Can do a search on it. Dr Sim Wen Shan. Hope this help.
Read moreI did subsidized for almost thirty weeks so i feel the same way too. Then switched to private at kkh but honestly same la. Looks like this applies to private kkh from the beginning also based on sharing by other moms. This doesnt seem to be the case in private hospitals tho but the costs haha

I am 23 weeks pregnant and my doctor is Dr Manisha Mathur. She has been very calm and supportive. Never rush and answer all my questions thoroughly. I have epilepsy so she takes extra care and always ask for my health time to time. so far experience with kkh has been good.
Prepare the questions u want to ask before you meet the doctor. Then just ask all the questions u want to ask haha. That’s what I usually do and the doctor will patiently answer all my questions. I am under KKH sub too
i tend to have all questions in my mind ready but upon entering the room to meet doctor, it all went blank 🤣 thanks fr the advice, gon start keeping on my notes haha
I was under private at kkh throughout my pregnancy to birth.. and i had a really pleasant experience with my gynae who too really good care of me.
How was the vaginal stitching for the subsidised mummies? I am planning to go sub route too but a bit scared of random trainee stitching..
