Can i add formula milk to EYS Si Shen brown rice powder?

Hi mummies... Please advise.... My 4 mth old baby is suddenly drinking very little milk. He has been drinking FM since 1 mth old. I was told to feed him some si shen powder from EYS to help increase his appetite. Can i add FM to the powder? Must i boil the mixture for 5 mins when cooking?
