I discovered I had fibroids during my detailed scans too, guess is the preg hormones that enlarge the fibroids. lucky for me under the gynae care of constant monitoring during each visit, my fibroids did not cause any hinderance to either my baby or my option in having natural birth. So gynae told me to leave it as well. I saw that there is a seminar on this issue this end Sept, you can consider attending as there are live QnA session b4/during. http://supermom.com.sg/pregnancy-birth-babycare-sept17

I have one and only discovered it when I was pregnant and went for scans. One if the implication is with pregnancy and hormone changes the fibroid may suddenly expand and put pressure but mine did not . The Gynae recommends doing nothing to it since I am pregnant and she says usually such things may go off on its own after pregnancy too. So don't worry too much just monitor them in every scan

i personally don't have experience with it. But i tried reading it up. I hope it helps http://www.parents.com/pregnancy/complications/health-and-safety-issues/fibroids-during-pregnancy/

Fibroids in pregnancy may cause pain, miscarriage or preterm delivery. The severity of the condition depends on the size, location and number of the fibroids. Do consult your obstetrician for your pregnancy care plan.
