Night feeds

Hi mummies! I am trying to feed my baby bm as frequent as I can, however for night feedings, say I need to use the bm in the fridge as I am pumping at a later timing, however it takes time to warm up the bm as well which is impossible for a crying baby to wait, so in the end prepare formula (which is faster). How do u feed your baby bm during the night?

Does your baby wake up at fixed intervals/timings? If so, you can wake up slightly earlier to prepare (up to 1hr before). Or one parent can go in to calm baby down and change the diaper to buy some time, while the other parent warms the milk.

Can your husband wake up and warm the milk then? 😁 Rather than him waking up to calm baby down for 10 minutes while you run to the kitchen. If he can wake up earlier, that saves everybody the distress. I mean, you have to wake up an extra time later on to pump, so you’re already so tired. And he’s the one that doesn’t want you to latch.. heh.
