Gbs positive for upcoming pregnancies

From what I understand, GBS status can actually change between pregnancies, so being positive the first time does not automatically mean you will be positive in all future ones. That said, it can go either way, and most hospitals will test you again in each pregnancy, usually around 35 to 37 weeks, rather than assume based on your history. It is really worth bringing this up with your gynae or O&G early in your next pregnancy so they can walk you through the screening and what to expect. Every pregnancy is a bit different, so best to get the proper picture from your doctor rather than worry about it now.
