When is the end of first trimester?

Hi mummies! I am so confused! Does the first trimester consist of 12 or 13 weeks? 😵 The app seems to indicate 13 weeks as first trimester but I was told it's 12 weeks 😵

I think 2nd trimester starts at week 14, so making week 13 the last week of 1st trimester.
