Postnatal visit after deliver

Hi mummies , can I ask issit compulsory to inform Klinik Kesihatan after I deliver ? I actually do follow up both KK and private hospital, I'm planning to deliver in private hospital. Earlier I asked the KK nurse she mentioned that after I deliver must inform them and come to KK check up for 10 days . Issit compulsory need to come for 10 days ?
