I went with confinement centre with my first baby and now the second one. Confinement centre is better. Got nurses to take care of baby day and night. If you want to breastfeed, can take baby to room in. If don't want, just express breastmilk out for the nurse to feed baby or allow them to do mixed feeding, ie give formula for top up or when needed. Baby diaper, mummy food, and laundry all taken care of. Nurse checks on baby and mummy health. Got some talks and activities.
Confinement lady cheaper. But need to buy own cooking ingredients and baby diaper, likely take care of baby at night since she needs to rest at night. Laundry self managed. If Chinese, need to give them an angpow after service completed.
