Infant Care Baby
Hi Mummies My baby has been in ifc for 6 months already, and she is basically sick every month and i felt soooo tired about the situation. I have been taking a lot of leaves to care for her at home and sometimes its taking a toll on me mentally and physically. I would like to know if changing ifc is an option or is there any other way to boost my baby’s immunity? 🥲Sharing of similar experiences would be helpful too 🥲
It happened to my girl before she hits 1 year old.. At least kena sends home or can’t go school once a month (happened in both IFC she attends) till we got no choice asking MIL to help even thou she’s unwilling.. Since born, my girl is on vitamin c and probiotic but tbh sometimes I wonder if it help since she keep falling sick.. There’s a few factors why they sick; example classmate wasn’t well passed down the virus which we can’t avoid or our kid having some allergy issue.. You may highlight to your PD about it.. For our case, PD sent her to do allergy test and we found out actually my girl is having allergic to certain thing that trigger her to have running nose with white mucus very often..
Read morehow old is your baby? my boy started IFC when he was 4+mths old..the initial 3-4months was tiring. he get sick almost every other week, but it's the way to build stronger immunity. once he reach about 6-7months old, I started to give him probiotics n use immunity body balms. and 1 yr old onwards, started him on supplements as well. he has since promoted to PG and hardly sick by now
Read moreback then i was using normal blender for about 2 months and thereafter no longer required a food processor. As most of his food is soft after steaming and can be easily mashed with a fork and spoon. Also some food can be easily chewed by babies given they are soft after cooking. Food processor is not required long term. it became extra tools to wash after a later stage.

I dont have extra room for helper :)
