Sippy straw cup and snack cup

Hi mummies, my baby is 9m old now. I have tried introducing sippy straw cup to her but she strongly rejects it. As for snack cup, she refused to put her hand and fingers into the flaps too. Is this normal? Anyone here faces the same issue?
