Help! Leg cramp/pain when wake up (2nd trimester)

This morning I woke up with a sharp, searing pain through my left leg (I was sleeping on my right side last night though). And when I tried to move it, straighten it, or get up, the pain would shoot all the way up my pelvic area through my inner thigh muscles. I tried standing but that leg had no strength at all. It took me about 15 minutes of very very slow stretching and massaging before I could finally get out of bed and now it’s slowly recovering. Has anyone experienced this in their 2nd trimester before? Does anyone know what it is? (Will consult a doctor also, of course - maybe in the next couple of days. But wondering if this has happened to anyone else before.)

Hi there, make sure you include plenty of potassium rich foods in your diet. The best is bananas. They are nutrient dense and also will help give you a boost of energy.
