Moms, were some of you not really domesticated when you got married (couldn't clean/cook/do laundry/etc)? How did you adjust?

Until now, I really don't cook coz I haven't really tried, I also don't clean due to to my asthma and rhinitis. My husband does almost all the chores, but I am the hands on when it comes to taking care of the kids almost 24/7, plus I am preoccupied with my home based job which starts at 5AM. My husband understands and adjusts to the situation as he knows I am the one much more focused on the kids and earning for a living.
