Hi moms, I'm in a situation whereby I'm staying with my in-laws and I hate them so much because of the things they said about me, and did to me that made me so repelled. I dislike the gold they gave for my wedding even , should I sell it?

Hi, it must be so difficult. I’m staying with my in-laws too and if there are thing I don’t agree with, I will tell my husband behind closed doors. So far, they are not so bad but it must be challenging if they are saying things about you. We will be moving out next yr once we get the BTO n renovate and I can’t wait. Are you getting your own space? That’s the only way to get out of it!

I’m waiting for my BTO too. I am wondering if I am able to hop over to sale of balance instead to get my house even faster than expected. My MIL even went to the extent of divulging family information to my neighbour, to get everyone to hate me. She tells one sided stories to her friends and her family.

You’ll outlive them. Sell them afterwards. Any problems, just remember they’ll soon be dead anyway cos well... they’re older than you lol

If it makes you feel better to sell, I guess why not? 😅 Try to discuss with your hubby first to avoid conflict later on though

Try being more patient. They're old and they may not know how to say things the right way.
