Bloatedness & weight gain

Hello mommies & mommies-to-be, I need advice on how to reduce bloatedness! I am at week 5 going on 6, and my stomach is HUGE as I’m super bloated. I have tried peppermint tea, drinking warm water when I wake up, but to not much avail. Also don’t wish to apply ointment as my older age makes this pregnancy much higher risk so prefer to be cautious. In addition, any tips on slowing down weight gain? I go for daily hour-long walks (as trying to refrain from spinning though I used to spin 3x a week) and eating fruits, cutting all sweet intakes. My first gynae appt is unfortunately only in 2 weeks so need advice to help me through till then!
