Well, on my opinion, I can't consider these ready-to-eat foods as junk. Pero we all know that in reality, somehow, however PURE and ORGANIC they describe their product, meron additives pa din to make it lasts longer. It's still better to prepare baby's food from scratch. Pero sa mga days na pagod na pagod tayo and we feel like we need a break, all these ready-to-eat foods come super handy. Pero it's up to you pa din as a mom, if you want na lahat ng food ni baby is prepared mo mismo but then, kahit makakain sila ng cerelac, gerber, beech nut (that's what we have). They're all food and as long as nabubusog si baby. Ako kapag sobrang fussy ni baby and hindi sya makahintay ng iprepare kong food, i heat this beech nut bottle and voila, makakain na sya. Pero most of the time, may meal plan na ko for the week. And I try my very best to stick with that plan. Hahahaha i don't want to argue with my child in the future dahil gusto nya kumain ng hotdog, bacon, nuggets and the likes hahahaha 😂
Hi mommy. Better if magresearch ka about it, or try to contact Cerelac Philippines regarding this. Much better if si pedia ang mag-guide sayo ng what to eat/take ni baby every month para ma-monitor din kung saang food siya magkakaroon ng reaction. 6months ako nagstart mag-introduce ng solids kay baby. @7months veggies, @8months fruits, @9months egg and meat. So far okay naman si baby. Natry ko din ang cerelac, Rice and Soya/Wheat and Milk/Brown Rice and Milk, hindi yung may mga kasamang fruit/veggie flavor (as advised by my pedia @6mos). I'm not saying na ito ang tama ha, try to research na lang din about it din. Judgement mo naman na din yan bilang mommy. Isa ito sa mga nahanap ko: https://momiberlin.com/2018/04/29/momi-learns-cerelac-no-junk-food/
Hi Mommy! Junk food or not, this should not be your choice. Mas ok pa din kung real fruits and vegetables ang ipapakain natin kay baby. That way, baby pa lang sila, masasanay na sila. Hindi na tayo mahihirapan paglaki nila. Yan din ang sabi ng pedias namin. 😊
Check the article from wirld heath organization may article sila na gerber and cerelac is junk food oricessed na kasi sya mamsh maz okay na organic foods na ikaw mismo magpprep
Because it has preservatives mommy and sugar. Better start with veggies and fruits that are not high in sugar si baby, natural lang muna.
Yes, according to my OB. Anything that has preservatives to prolong the shelf life of the product is considered junk food.
puro sugar lang din un pati gerber. sanayin ang bata sa gulay wag mo na ipakilala si cerelac at gerber
