echogenic intracardiac focus (EIF)

Hi mga momsh, ask ko lang po kng meron din sa inyo nakita during CAS na echogenic intracardiac focus sa heart ni baby lalo ako nag worry nung sinabi na high risk sa DS 😔🙏 Im on my 2nd semester, nawala ba siya sa inyo sa 3rd semester? At kamusta ang mga baby niyo now? Thank you sa sagot. #1stimemom #firstbaby

Aww mama, I understand the worry kasi ganyan talaga ang feeling pag may findings sa ultrasound honestly marami sa amin may EIF findings sa second trimester pero nawala na siya by third trimester or birth, kaya it's usually just a soft marker na hindi automatic na may condition, pero definitely follow up with your OB para ma-monitor properly, especially if they want to do additional screening like NIPT or detailed anatomy scan. One of my friends had the same worry and her baby was perfectly healthy, so try not to stress too much muna (easier said than done, I know!) and let your doctor guide you through the next steps, okay?
