Jaw pain during pregnancy

Hello mga mommies! 1 week nang masakit ang left jaw ko sa may bandang tenga. Bearable pa sya until today nung nag click while I was chewing. Ngayon sobrang hirap na mag open ng mouth pag magsasalita ang hindi ko na mabuka ang bibig ko para kumain. 😢 May nakaexperience na ba sa inyo ng ganito while pregnant? Btw im on my 32nd week.

Jaw pain during pregnancy is actually pretty common dahil sa relaxin hormone na nag-loosen ng ligaments, plus the weight gain and posture changes, but that clicking sound at hindi makabukang bibig mo ay concerning na, so I'd really suggest checking with your OB or a dentist soon to make sure it's not TMJ or something else that needs attention. One of my mum friends had similar jaw pain around third trimester at nag-rest lang sila ng jaw, soft foods, warm compress, pero hers wasn't as bad as what you're describing kaya definitely better to get it checked out na lang para peace of mind mo.
