Itchy n red on lo back neck

My LO back neck will suddenly turn red and he will feel itchy , look like heat rash but polyclinic doc said is fungus after they did a lab test. Applied the recommended cream but doesn't help. Any mummies here can advise

Baby skin is thinner and more sensitive than adult’s skin. If the recommended cream doesn’t help, y dun u return and tell doc what happened? Or else, go to another doc for consultation. Better not anyhow apply stuff. Fungal infection must treat properly so it will not return.
