Newborn sweat

Last night I made a mistake by offing the aircon in the middle of the night. Fan was on. Forgot to take off the blanket from my newborn (he was in swaddle and we placed additional baa baa sheep blanket from stomach down, tucked into the cot). Ended up when I woke up about 4 hours later, realised baby was sweating. Now I am worried if there will be any health impact on baby? As I just read article that we need to dress baby appropriately to make sure baby is not too cold or sweating, and high temperature could lead to SIDS...... ?

It’s ok. Don’t worry. It’s good that your baby perspired. It’s one way to cool the body when it’s too hot.
