Kind of out of topic... A friend of mine is really upset that her 15 year old dog is dying. How do I console her? I'm not a pet lover myself so not sure how to react. Anyone been in the same situation?

Just be there for her. For a pet lover when a pet does it's the same as a family member who is passing.
