Prevent and treat insect bites in kids

Kids are so prone to insect bites. Which repellent and insect bite creams you use? Please share mummies :)

I use tiger rand patch and/or spray depending if going to areas with a lot of trees etc. If got mosquito bites I will apply twinklebaby multipurpose balm or any brand essential balms you can get.
