Is rice based cereal better than wheat based cereal for infants?

personally for a start, rice cereal is encouraged as it is easy to prepare and also easy to digest. it is also available islandwide. all you need to do is to mix with water or if you prefer, breast milk is fine too. to me, convenience is more important. when baby is bigger, you can then opt for other choices available.
