Fever at week 8 pregnancy

I’m at my week 8 day 1 pregnancy. Started having fever since yesterday afternoon and it hasn’t come down since. Have taken paracetamol and seen a GP this morning but fever is still at 38.8-39.4. Should I wait or go to A&E?

I wouldn’t take the risk and would just go A&E to have a peace of mind. I have read that fever is one symptom which shouldn’t be taken lightly especially during first trimester.

I think u should just in case
