Feel like I’m going to breakdown

I’m at week 7+4, been having issues eating since like week5. I don’t feel well when I’m hungry, but when I eat I can barely take a few bites.. n if I take more than just a few bites, I don’t feel well again.. I basically cannot function at all.. constantly worrying about my next meal and having to sleep off the discomfort after meals.. and because I’m barely eating, I’m feeling hungry very often too, but it gives me stress too cause every single food taste bad and I don’t know what to get for myself anymore.. feeling very helpless that I cannot do anything and I can’t get myself to go to office like this.. I know everyone says it will get better in the 2nd trimester, but it feels so far fetched now.. I feel like I’m going to breakdown soon #firsttimemom #PregnancyAdvise

I really hear you, and what you're going through sounds genuinely exhausting especially at work. The cycle of not eating enough but feeling awful when you do is really tough to manage, and it's completely valid to feel overwhelmed right now. That said, at 7 weeks with these eating difficulties affecting your ability to function, it would be really good to bring this up with your doctor or PD just to check in and maybe get some practical support, whether that's anti-nausea options or just reassurance on what's normal. In the meantime, lots of mums find that smaller, more frequent snacks (even just a few crackers or a sip of something) spread throughout the day works better than trying to eat proper meals, and keeping some bland options on hand for when nothing sounds appealing can help take away the stress of deciding what to eat. The second trimester relief is real for many, but you don't have to white-knuckle through feeling this bad for weeks.
