Is it normal to develop piles (hemorrhoids) during pregnancy, and how can they be managed safely

I’m currently pregnant and have recently started experiencing discomfort, swelling, and pain around the rectal area, which I suspect might be piles (hemorrhoids). Is this a common condition during pregnancy? What causes it, and are there safe and effective ways to relieve the symptoms without harming the baby? I would appreciate advice on home remedies, lifestyle changes, or treatments that are recommended for pregnant women.

Hemorrhoids are quite common during pregnancy. Staying hydrated, eating fibre-rich foods, and taking warm sitz baths can help. Always check with your doctor before using any medication.
