Aspirin During 1st Trimester

Im currently 10 weeks preg n my doc prescribed me Aspirin 100mg to be taken at night daily on the 11th week.. Has anyone taken Aspirin during pregnancy? Is it safe?

I took it all the way till 36th wk to prevent my preeclampsia frm happening again.. n it worked. I had normal delivery with healthy babies
