Sleeping sitting up vs sleeping on ur back. Is it the same?

Hi all. Im ard 22 weeks pregnant and have breathlessness most of the time at night. Ive been coping by sleeping propped on multiple pillows bt im wondering, since this made me sleep throughout the night in a sitting up & facing up position, is this safe for baby shld this progress to tri 3? Is this the same as sleeping on your back which i heard is dangerous cz it may cause stillbirth.

I felt breathless too when I'm pregnant with my daughter so I what I did was I double my pillow and put it as high as possible so I could breath, I sleep on sides or on back both are fine, you can use a pregnancy pillow it will help too. try to get a semi hard pillow to support your back to prevent back ache.

Sleeping on the back should be avoided when you're in the last stage of your 3rd trimester to prevent from the risk of a stillbirth. For now, sleep in whatever position that you're comfortable with but of course left is preferred.

I sleep on the side. never sleep on the back
