If your baby takes a bottle or nurses to sleep, how do you clean their teeth? There's been talk that nursing to sleep or taking the last feed may lead to tooth decay.... but it's just not practical to clean their mouths when they've dozed off right??

So far, there has not been any substantial evidence that links night-time nursing to dental cavities as milk flows to the back of the baby's throat when they are nursing. My baby nurses to sleep and I only clean her mouth with a wet cloth about twice a day. If your baby is fed with a bottle, then it is advised to gently clean out their mouths because the longer the bacteria lingers in their mouths, the more time it has to react with the sugars present in the milk which results in cavities. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Early_childhood_caries
