I drink half a cup of carbonated drink to ease the gassy feeling

I usually don’t drink carbonated drinks by choice. But ever since i got pregnant, i am so bloated and gassy. Farting and burping randomly is so normal for me. But at night, i cannot burp or fart and its very uncomfortable. So after dinner, i would drink half a cup of a&w or root beer. Is there any other option beside drinking gassy drinks? Idw this to be a habit or a routine.
