There are natural remedies for easing baby's teething pain. One of them is teething necklaces. Myself and some friends used it when baby is teething and can see the good results. http://sg.theasianparent.com/baltic-teething-remedy-amber-teething-necklace/ There are two types of teething necklaces: Amber Teething necklace and Hazelwood Teething. The main difference between the two is the type of materials used. The one I used was Amber Teething necklace which has anti-inflammatory and therapeutic properties. If you feel uncomfortable to let baby to wear the necklace on neck (choking hazard), you can wear it on other place as long as directly on the baby's skin e.g. ankle. In addition, you can do baby massage for teething. Example of teething massage can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvLU-lIwUHs Also, you can try to offer teething biscuits such as teething rusk from Heinz/Only Organic.

I still remember the time when my baby boy was 5 months old and would cry and bite on to his pillow or any rubber toy. By chance I visited my dentist for my routine check and I casualy mentioned to her about my baby and she quickly said nothing to worry.... the baby is teething and that I should allow him to bite on a frozen carrot. That advice worked really well and my baby seemed to be enjoying both the carrot as well as his playtime. Well, today my boy is 11 years old and he still munches in carrots during snack time.

If your baby has started on solid foods, you could let her gnaw on a peeled, chilled vegetable, such as a carrot, or a hard crust of bread. One of my friends used a chilled bagel as it is soft enough for baby to teeth on but at the same time, because of the spongey texture, helps absorb possible drooling. When you give baby chilled or frozen food products, be sure to keep a close eye on him to ensure no choking happens. You can also try teething toys, or simply a well-chilled, damp flannel cloth to bite on.

Always bring lots of patience at hand! :) There'll be lots of things to happen while baby is teething like excessive drooling, biting (yea my lo used to bite my fingers when her first tooth emerged), baby can't sleep, fever an the like (http://sg.theasianparent.com/be-prepared-for-babys-teething-symptoms/) Agreed that you can offer him something to gnaw or chew on. This list of home remedies for your teething baby can be of a great help! http://sg.theasianparent.com/5-natural-teething-remedies/ :)

1. Give your child something to chew on, like a firm rubber teething/ring or a cold washcloth that you've chilled in the refrigerator (not freezer). 2. Rub a clean finger gently but firmly over your baby's sore gums to temporarily ease the pain. 3. If your baby is old enough to eat solids, he may get some relief from cold food such as applesauce or yogurt. 4. Give him a hard, unsweetened teething biscuit, such as zwieback, to gnaw on..Just keep an eye on him and be mindful of choking.

Patience and showering him with tender loving care is the best. He will feel irriated and annoyed cos of his uncomfortable gums. Be extra patient with him. He may not know jow to talk or express homself and is feeling fruatrated too. Getting him some gel like bojela helps. Some of my friends also suggested using some fine sugar as it is able to help sotthe a cranky baby.

http://www.youngparents.com.sg/does-she-have-teething-blues Here's a good read. When I was breastfeeding my teething son, somebody in a breastfeeding Fb group recommended Hyland's teething tablets to me. I love it! I'm not sure how homeopathy works but it's all natural.

Teething? I believe your baby has started on solids already. Try chilling some vegetables like carrots for baby to "chew" as his gums are real itchy. Alternatively, get teething gel to "cool" the gums. Also, you may choose to get teething toys.
