Are abdominal pains a cause for alarm?

Mild abdominal cramps, even if accompanied by chills and fever, aren't necessarily a cause for alarm. It is common for the round ligament of the uterus to cause discomfort as the womb grows. Call your doctor and make yourself comfortable by lying down. Mild cramps can signal something as simple as slight pressure on the pelvic area. On the other hand, serious cramps are a different matter entirely. Don't hesitate to call your doctor if you feel like something's not quite right.

How do I cope with frequent trips to the loo at night?

For some people, it is caused by tthe enlarging womb pressing onto the bladder so they feel that they need to go to the toilet at night. If your bladder is empty, you don't have to go to the loo so often. Yet in pregnancy, most need more fluid because they expire, perspire and respire a bit more and so they tend to. The only way is to drink less at night (2 hours before sleeping) to reduce fluid but not so till you're dehydrated. Sometimes it's the sleeping position. Some people have room tilted backwards (lying on the back), pressing on the bladder a little bit more and thus, are more likely to want to go toilet. Lying on your side is better.

I am having white thick vaginal discharge. Is it normal?

It is normal to have some vaginal discharge in pregnancy. However, if the discharge has a strong smell, or if there is accompanying itch or bleeding, then it is important to exclude infection. Your doctor can take a swab to check for infection so that you can receive appropriate treatment.

Mommies, when was the last time na nag-splurge kayo for yourself? How was it? :)

I can't even remember when was the last time. Ever since I have the kids, it almost is nearly impossible to buy anything. Everytime I want to buy for myself, I'll end up thinking, nevermind I rather buy something for the kids or family. maybe aside from that I splurge on food. ahahaa

Hubby wants to open a savings account. He said it's for us. But wants it to be under his name. Does he makes sense? I want it to be under both our names though so whatever happens I know I also have authority and for sure I'll contribute to it in the long run. What to do?

If both of u contribute to the account then there should be both names. Unless he is the sole contributor to the account for "us"

Check it first with your child's PD, mom. But I bet you not to try giving it.

My baby's turning 2 na next week and di pa complete milk teeth nya. Normal pa ba? As in 2 frony teeth pa lang sa baba!
