tested negative after missed period

I tested negative after missed period on 5th day. Is it normal? Some symptoms already shown and by the way, my period is always regular and I have never missed one.#Needadvice

🤷🏼‍♀️ not sure normal or not….but according to my understanding, if you get a negative result but still suspect pregnancy, u can wait 48-72 hours and test again, as apparently hCG levels double every 2 days. Also, test using your first morning urine for the highest concentration of the preggers hormone (hCG hormone). All the best! 👍🏼

You can usually test positive by 1 week late although i acknowledge its different for everyone. You can always walk in to a Thomson Gynaecologist clinic and enquire. They have ultrasound facilities to check on the spot too.
