glucose tolerance test is draw blood or poke small hole on finger to test?

I can't imagine having to draw tubes of blood within 2 hours. One before drinking glucose and one hour after drinking.

Mine was clinic and back in 2021. Gynae under TMC. It wasn’t mandatory for me back then, not sure about now tho.
