Recommend RSV to pregnant mom

I only learned about RSV after my gynae mentioned it. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have known that a newborn could be at risk. Even though the vaccine isn’t compulsory and not subsidised, paying for it feels worth it for the peace of mind. Reducing the risk, even a little, is a relief. 🤰 #week32

I think you've made a really good call bringing this up. My gynae also flagged RSV with me during pregnancy, and honestly it's one of those things that flies under the radar until someone actually tells you about it. Since it's not on the subsidised schedule, a lot of mums don't even know it exists. The peace of mind factor is real especially if you've got a newborn coming, and if your budget allows, protecting them from something that can be quite serious in the early months feels worth the cost. Have you already booked it in with your PD, or are you still deciding on timing?
