I've heard sippy bottles are not very good for their teeth development, you can skip them and go straight to a normal cup or straw cup. I got a Munchkin 360 which is like a normal cup but it's leak proof. It's been good so far so you can try it out

my daughter learns to use straw better than use the sippy cup, it's better cos no spills, later on after went to school then she learn to drink using cup, so we skip the sippy cup, I bought some sippy cups but in the end only put in the cupboard

My kids didn’t use sippy bottle as they know how to use a straw bottle. But I bought those weighted type.
