Trying again

I had a missed miscarriage 4 months back. Been trying again since July. Now I've missed my period for 4 days but I am too afraid to test for pregnancy. The anxiety is killing me. Anyone went through the same experience before? Please give me some advice.

I had miscarriage twice. Currently 38 weeks pregnant and still scared. But a gynae once told me, if its meant to be, its meant to be, and experiencing miscarriage is never our fault, take it as if the baby is not growing well or is sick hence our body rejected it. With current pregnancy i even waited until 10 weeks plus to visit a doctor just because I dont want to have to go through early checks and be disappointed again and again. Its a pain and worry that we cant control, trust our body to do the right thing for us, it went through alot for us mummies😇

congratulations on your rainbow baby! looove this! thank u!

i understand how scared you feel. its feels like everything jumble up. feel excited but also like dont want to be so excited like still feel scared about the pass missed miscarriage. For me it took 1month to test my pregnancy. because as you say anxiety but you have to overcome it otherwise you may not know whats happening inside you. so yeah just chill take the test when you ready. Nobody pressuring you. just dont too long. goodluck wish you all the best 🥰

I had two consecutive missed miscarriages . The anxiety was excruciating. I had extra test kits so I tested myself out frequently to help alleviate the anxiety. To assure myself. The waiting time in between the first few appointments were also excruciating. Try to keep your mind occupied with things to not think about it! The worry would still be there but gotta keep faith:) What’s meant to be will be. Currently, in my 3rd trimester.

Thank you there :) 🥰🥰

Hello! I had three losses and I understand your anxiety. I hope to give you another perspective - the sooner you test and if it's positive, the sooner you can get some support from your gynae in the form of Aspirin or progesterone pills and jabs if necessary ❤️ in any case, you do you and whatever that helps to put your mind at ease. You're not alone and I hope you feel more at peace soon 🙏🏻

I am so sorry for your multiple losses, I hope you're getting all the support you need. I did 2 tests, both turns out negative. I guess I'm just too stressed up about getting pregnant again (but worry about another possible loss at the same time).

You're probably too stress! Try to relax and divert your attention to something else. Check once you've missed your period for a week for a better result. I was the same. Had a miscarriage but only tried a yr later. So eager to be pregnant again. Missed my period so I kept checking. 4 negative test kits. Only got a positive with the 5th test kit on my 14th day of missed period.

thank you for sharing! it gives me hope!

Just take the test so your anxiety is put at ease. I understand how you feel.. same thing happened to me. First month trying I was so stressed my period was late for one week (never before).

I think it is the case for me. I was probably too stressed up that it messes my period cycle.

Went through the same, now I’m almost 5weeks along. But I’ve been spotting lately so doc puts me on progesterone to help minimise another miscarriage.
