Yeah both my husband and I are suspected too, and the doctors encouraged us to go for further testings. But we decided not to because even if it’s confirmed, they cannot do anything to help the baby and the pregnancy until the baby comes out. End of the day, it will just be stressful and anxious for me not being able to do anything about it throughout the rest of the pregnancy so rather not opt for the tests.
I was diagnosed with beta-thalassemia, so my Husband was called down to do a test, luckily, he was clean, so the risks of complication were much lower and no further tests or prevention were needed.
Does this mean that both your husband and you have thalassemia? Major or minor?
Major will be the issue. Hope will will be well.
Did you do this blood test tog with NIPT
