showering at night

I feel warm most nights and always want to shower right before i sleep. (10-11pm) My mom however strongly discourage me showering at night fearing weak body during or after delivery (muscle cramps etc). Is it true or a myth? Opinions please... Cus part of me thought its basic comfort/hygiene.

I always bathe later than you, but always in hot water! Don’t feel any muscle cramps during n after delivery! :)
