Should I bring my baby to my first follow up appointment

I just delivered my baby in NUH on Tuesday. Hospital schedule me for my first follow up appointment on this coming Thursday at clinic G. This appointment is purely for me or they will check on my newborn too? If it is for me, I will not bring her.
