I will check after 2-3hrs and change when soiled for daytime. For night time, I will not change unless necessary otherwise will disrupt LO sleep. Get a better quality diaper that can hold. I'm using goon. So far so good!
Change on demand , feel how wet it is and know your newborns limit through his/her cries and diaper rash . You’ll be able to see that pattern soon . Take your time .
Best to change it every 4 hours at the least. For night, go for long lasting diaper to last through the night. I recommend Pampers for night wear.
Babies want to be dry and clean too so you may want to change when they feel uncomfortable. You'll be able to tell(:
Well it's really up to when it needs changing. We generally check every 2-3 hours just in case.
