to get a nice texture, you put warm liquid first (fm or bm if required to mix with fm or bm as per instructions written on the box). some cereal just require water so just follow the instruction on the box. then pour in the cereal bit by bit and stirr. if too mushy, then add liquid again, stirr. if too diluted, add cereal again and stirr till you get a nice texture. the trick is bit by bit so the cereal won't be clumpy. it will be smooth.
i fed all the cerelacs food when my boy was a baby because im not confident in me making baby food at that time (more like nutrients wise) so this was my first go-to food before i learn to make some myself and transit from there. add milk or breastmilk or sometimes just water to perfect consistency that the baby will take. it will be watery after some time because of the food texture just like ur cereals becomes soggy ? its normal
Just to share, as you feed baby (assuming it’s mushy or more clumpy at the start) the consistency will turn watery due to the stirring and exposing to surrounding air. It is normal as baby feeds slower at this stage.
I added breastmilk a little at a time until my desired consistency
add milk until mushy consistency? if diluted then add more?
i like adding milk to desired consistency
