How to introduce kids to eat veggies and fruits?

Hi Angel! First is to literally introduce the veggies and fruits to your child by simply putting a plate of them on their table and take the lead to eat some in front of them. Yourself can give them an idea that eating such is enjoyable. Also, you may opt to tweak your child's favourite dish and put some heart on it or simply make it healthier. Try baking carrot or banana cake instead of chocolate cake? Or perhaps veggie toppings on their pizza and lesser meat? It is more important to introduce kids to eat veggies and fruits. To do it can follow following things: 1. Add a fruit or vegetable as part of every meal or snack. 2. Include at least one leafy green or yellow vegetable for vitamin A such as spinach, broccoli, winter squash, greens, or carrots each day. 3. Provide fruits and vegetables as snacks. 4. Include at least one vitamin C–rich fruit or vegetable, such as oranges, grapefruit, strawberries, melon, tomato, and broccoli each day.

Role modelling and eating together with the child! Describing how tasty the food is and to create interesting designs or cartoon characters will be more enticing and motivating for the LO to pop the food into their mouth!

Try to be a role model to the child. They often follow what we eat and do so try to show more interest in vegetables and fruits on your side to encourage them. Try to be positive and let them know the goodness of the food!

My son loves milk and yogurt so we often blend fruits and make a milkshake. He also used to like eating the ready pouch purees so I would try and recreate those exact same combinations at home.

Make fruits nd veggies colorful recipes or mix fruits or veggies in cereal or any other food which they like Ned feed them ..I do same thing with my baby she like the combinations nd eat well.

I just put it on their plate and let them grab (when they are able to). Lol. When they were younger, mashed and give age appropriate texture, and feed with spoon!

Children can be very picky. It may take as many as 10 to 15 tries with a new food before a child is willing to accept it. So do not give up, and keep trying. :)
